Fairtrade Foundation
Fairtrade is a system of certification that sets standards in the production of goods. Fairtrade is about better prices, safe working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers. Fairtrade standards comprise both minimum social, economic and environmental requirements, which producers must meet to be certified, plus progress requirements that encourage the continuous improvement of farmers’ organizations or the situation of estate workers. Fairtrade enables businesses – and through them, consumers – to understand the whole supply chain because it is tracked from producer to buyer.
Bio Organic
CAUCASCERT Ltd is the first local company, which offers its customers certification of organic products. The organic certificate is legally recognized in Georgia, European Union and Switzerland.
BRC
The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety is a product and process certification standard known for compliance to industry best practices. BRC certification is an internationally recognized mark of food safety and quality. Certification is achieved by undertaking a third-party audit against Standard requirements by an accredited certification body (CB). BRC rates CBs on their technical performance and efficiency in customer service. Both FoodChain ID Certification in the UK and America are highly-rated CBs providing accredited BRC certification globally.
